Critical Cultural Theory II

Tama campus, autumn, Friday, 3:00~4:30

This second-year seminar intends to build upon understandings established in the Critical Cultural Theory I seminar in the spring term. Students who did not participate in the earlier course will be encouraged to work with students who did to ensure a smooth transition to the work of this course, which will turn to particular student-selected case studies that draw upon central theoretical understandings of culture and cultural change.

Evaluation will be based upon active participation in all seminar matters and, in particular, individual presentations and papers that grow from the work of the course.
