BK. Ezra Pound

118. Tsunoda, Shirô. ‘Pound no shi ni taisuru haiku no eikyô’ (The influence of haiku on Pound’s poems). Ôbirin daigaku tanki daigaku kiyô 7 (1967): 111-21.

Argues that Pound’s earliest interest in Japanese subjects came via the visual arts and Whistler (Ap), and that from this followed his interest in haiku and its well-known effects on the theory and practice of Imagism.
