Like Sakurajima (67), a poem printed as a Christmas card from the Blundens in Tokyo in 1949 (and see also 3 and 58). Describes the scene from the window of the title, in Fukuoka, after a fierce snowstorm. Reprinted in 68 as The Inn Window, Fukuoka, and 70, and 113 as The Early Year, Fukuoka. Appears also in Blunden’s hand in holograph facsimile in Benkovitz (188).
