Ôkubo finds a similarity between a sense of ‘mysterious beauty’ (yûgen) in the nô and in the poems Yeats wrote at Coole. Includes discussion of the ‘rhythm of metaphor’ Yeats found in the nô and passing notes about At the Hawk’s Well (12) and The Dreaming of the Bones (14a).
