Welcome to the new academic year. Since the last update the code for the web statistics program SuperStats has been removed from the site. The code required each page load at themargins.net to connect to the Network Solutions MyComputer.com web site, which often responded very slowly, badly slowing page loads here. My apologies to all who have had trouble accessing the site. Public statistics are now limited only to those generated by Analog 5.32, but pages at themargins.net are once again loading smoothly and quickly in all common browser / OS combinations.

With the schedule set, the description of the International Policy Studies Forum, Japan in the International Community: Ambassadorial Lectures, has been updated.
